Welcome to Granted Consultancy's Autumn Newsletter.
“We are busy preparing our final Regional Growth Fund related applications – yes the business growth funding programme is finally winding up and we are interested to see what ‘Industrial Strategy’ actually means for the business funding sphere in 2017 – certainly we anticipate that this government May be a little more supportive of business than the last Tory offering. In the meantime, there are plenty of grants for ambitious businesses accepting applications, so read on!”

How does your sector and location affect your grant funding eligibility?

How does your sector and location affect your grant funding eligibility? At Granted we are always keen to make the complicated grant sphere as clear and accessible as possible.

Granted have combined 20 years' experience in the grants sector. From this and research such as our GRANT REPORT we have learned that the sectors most commonly offered financial assistance from Grant Funding are:

According to our Grant Report, a staggering 61% of Economic Development Funding has been allocated to businesses in the manufacturing Sector, 84% of Economic Development funding was allocated to Medium and Large businesses.
* On these pages you will discover:
* Grants currently open to your sector
* Which regions prioritise your sector for funding opportunities.
* Which funding bodies favour your sector?
* Eligible Grant Funding expenditure
* Are you eligible for R&D Tax Credits
* Has Granted won funding for businesses in your sector previously?

This list of sectors is by no means exhaustive and Grant funding is a complex and time consuming matter. To date we have secured over £25,000,000 of funding for our clients.
Granted offer a free phone call and initial meeting to discuss your eligibility and options. If you are still unsure, please call us on 01392 427860 or email

£1 million in grants secured in Q2 2016

It looks like it is going to be a record breaking year for Granted and our clients based on our success in securing grant funding in the first 6 months of 2016 – we have hit £1m in the last three months alone! Success this quarter has come mainly in the form of Business Growth Grants.

The South West Growth Fund offered grants of up to £1m to ambitious businesses across the South West of England region, with the majority of the fund being used to support capital investment. Eligibility for this grant was dependent on a number of factors including the creation of new, permanent employment on the part of the applicant business.

We were delighted to secure recent funding of over £1n for local businesses including Devon Contract Waste, Image Holders, Atlas Packaging, Westbury Packaging, Hunter Stoves, Waycon and The Royal Bath & West Society, which also led to the creation of hundreds of new jobs in the region.

Although Grant applications for this particular fund have now come to an end, you can receive funding alerts as new grants are listed by signing up for our Grant Alerts. We anticipate that further funding will be released through LEP Growth Grants, ERDF Grants and LEADER Grants, amongst others – so get in touch if you think you have a project that could benefit from grant funding.

Company Director, Mareike Pahl says "We thrive on helping our clients achieve the game-changing projects they aspire to through grant funding. This move to larger offices will allow us to continue with our expansion plans and we look forward to welcoming our clients here.”

We haven’t moved far – just around the corner in fact and our new address is:
