Granted Consultancy and 19Dozen merger
Granted Consultancy Ltd and 19Dozen have recently merged, bringing together two long-established firms that can now offer a full range of Grant Funding services to clients across the UK and Europe.
Funding specialists, Granted Consultancy Ltd, have been established since 2010 and have developed a reputation for knowledge and success in the business funding sector – specialising in identifying and securing grant funding for ambitious projects.
Similarly, 19Dozen, established in 2013, specialises in the identification and procurement of lucrative sources of non-dilutive funding to support the development and commercialisation of innovative, science-based products, services and technologies.
Tom Kennard, Director of Granted, which has offices in Exeter and London, said:
“19Dozen share our values of client care, knowledge-driven consultancy and professionalism. Our remit is to help ambitious businesses identify and secure funding for innovative projects, with a core focus on our niche expertise in grant funding. Building on the success of the two businesses, this merger will mean we are ideally placed to respond to the UK government’s recent efforts to fund and support innovative start-ups and SMEs.”
Jon Williams, Managing Director of 19Dozen, agrees:
”In the past 12 months, we have seen a significant increase in support for research and development projects from the UK government, particularly through funding body Innovate UK which plans to invest hundreds of millions of pounds to support new and innovative UK businesses. Grants are currently available for companies developing new digital healthcare solutions, emerging and enabling technologies and advanced materials to name but a few. Joining forces with Granted will enable us to combine our specialist knowledge in grant funding creating a larger team and providing clients with a wider range of services. ”
Alex Chalkley, founding Director of Granted, added:
“The blend of skills and experience will be key to the ambitions of Granted Consultancy. We have been growing organically since 2010 and this merger provides a step-change in our capabilities and capacity. What will not change is our dedication to maximising our clients chance of success in securing funding.”
The merged company will continue to trade as Granted Consultancy and has signalled its intention to expand through the active recruitment of talented business and funding consultants.
